Reading Comprehension Lab: Supporting Learning with Technology
This session will look specifically at how technology can assist students in comprehending the text and materials they are reading. Participants will learn how to systematically teach comprehension strategies and use technology to support independent implementation of these strategies. This session will focus on supporting reading comprehension strategies in the content areas of grades 4-12 and post-secondary.

The Road from Access to Achievement
Digitized versions of students’ reading materials can increase access to text and improve learning for students with “print disabilities”. In this workshop participants will learn about emerging research and resources for using digitized texts to enhance content-area achievement. Based on work from the National Center for Supported eText and the NIMAS Development Center at CAST, the presenters will share the latest tools, tips and typologies for finding, evaluating, and creating digitized texts that make a difference.

Reading Strategies Every Student Should Know
